Fifty Four Ten Studio Knit-Along Wrap-Up and Project Gallery - 2026
The Fifty Four Ten Studio Summer 2026 knit-along has come to a close! More than 100 knitters registered to participate in the knit-along. It’s been a treat to see all the projects that knitters created and shared during the last few months.
In this blog post you’ll find the announcement of KAL prize winners and see photos of the many KAL projects that knitters created.
A QUICK REVIEW OF KNIT-ALONG PLAN
In case you missed the May announcement for this knit-along, knitters were invited to select any of my Fifty Four Ten Studio knitting patterns and the yarn of their choice for their project.
The knit-along time frame was about eleven weeks and ended on Thursday, August 27th. (The original deadline was extended a few days.)
To be eligible for prizes, photos of projects were shared on Ravelry, Instagram or by email by Thursday, August 27th, 2026.
Only those who registered for the KAL are eligible for prizes.
SELECTING KAL PRIZE WINNERS
It’s wonderful that so many knitters participated in the knit-along. Lots of project photos were shared on Ravelry, Instagram and by email!
Knit-along projects did not have to be completed to be eligible for prizes. Finished and work-in-progress projects were considered.
Knit-along prize winners were selected based on a well-crafted and attractive project, clear and appealing project photos, as well as informative project notes.
It means so much to me to see every project that is created with one of my Fifty Four Ten Studio patterns. Thus, it’s very difficult to pick the prize winning projects!
Even if your project was not selected for a KAL prize, I hope you know that I appreciate being able to share so many KAL projects in this blog post.
Over the last few months, I tried to keep track of all of the submitted projects and include photos (with the registrant’s permission) in this blog post. If you submitted a project and think I may have overlooked it, please send me an email at FiftyFourTenStudio@gmail.com.
All photos below are shared with permission of each knitter as indicated on the KAL registration form.
WINNER OF PRIZE #1:
Congratulations to Shelly… the winner of Prize #1! She receives a $100 gift certificate to Yarn Social. Shelly may shop in person at this cute little yarn shop in Kansas City or online at yarnsocial.com.
For this classic baby blanket project, Shelly used the Worth Remembering knitting blanket pattern and Bergère de France Barisienne worsted #4 weight yarn in the ‘Titane’ colorway.
This artfully arranged project photo grabbed my attention the first time I saw it! A beautifully crafted knitting project, layers of textiles, pretty flowers, and an interesting magazine cover, along with the natural light and shadows, all make for a lovely composition! WINNER OF PRIZE #2:
Congratulations to Rhetta… the winner of a $100 gift certificate to The Yarnery… a lovely yarn shop in St. Paul, Minnesota. Rhetta may shop in person or online at yarnery.com.
Rhetta told me that she knit this Around the Room blanket for a baby shower hosted for a new mom at her church. The yarn is King Cole Cherished DK in the ‘Sky’ colorway. Before gifting the blanket, Rhetta captured photographs outdoors, with the blanket draped over an antique, child sized rocking chair that is a treasured possession.
Rhetta’s blanket is beautifully crafted. The blue yarn color looks bright and cheerful surrounded by a field of green grass. Simply lovely!

Congratulations to Veronique and Emily!
Veronique knit this gorgeous throw using the On the Bright Side blanket knitting pattern. She followed the directions for the XXL afghan size and knit this generously sized, beautifully crafted blanket in about two months. Her Ravelry project notes say she used five skeins of Lion Brand Heartland yarn in the ‘Acadia’ colorway.
Veronique said the stitch pattern is “easy to remember and knits like a charm”. So glad she enjoyed making this fabulous project!

Emily knit this stunning baby blanket using the Touch of Kindness Blanket and Knit Picks Dishie, 100% cotton worsted #4 weight yarn, in the 'Lilac Mist' colorway. This solid colorway allows the reversible, geometric stitch pattern to shine. Emily executed this repeating triangle stitch pattern perfectly! See more details about Emily's project on Ravelry.

WINNERS OF PRIZE #4:

Congratulations to Lori and Deborah!
Lori recently retired and returned to knitting for the first time since she learned as a young girl. She picked the striped Here & Now blanket knitting pattern for bulky #5 weight yarn as one of her first projects. Lori said this project offered her the chance to learn how to use multiple yarn colors and how to weave in ends. It’s a beautifully crafted project!
Lori emailed this pretty photo of her finished Here & Now Blanket. This blanket pattern uses five colors of Lion Brand Hue & Me bulky #5 weight yarn. It looks like Lori used the same yarn colors I used in the original sample design. Get the details here!
Deborah used the All These Places blanket knitting pattern and a lovely neutral shade of yarn to knit this throw. Her Ravelry project notes say she used knit this blanket using Berroco Weekend #4 weight yarn (discontinued) in the ‘Oats’ colorway, holding two strands together to mimic a bulky weight yarn. Deborah worked the 20-row basketweave stitch pattern perfectly!
Deborah knit this attractive throw using the All These Places knitting pattern and two strands of Berroco Weekend #4 weight yarn (discontinued) in the ‘Oats’ colorway. The neutral colorway works nicely with this basketweave stitch pattern.
